Shifting Perspectives Team
Samantha Kraft Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Capella University with a Psychology Undergraduate Degree and Social Worker Certificate. Some of my experience and counseling techniques have been developed while working with Wisconsin Department of Corrections, Juvenile Justice System, Shelter Care and Partnership Community Health Care.
Training and experience include working with diverse and multicultural populations ranging in age, abilities, beliefs and cultures. I have worked with many at risk populations, LGBTQ+ both adolescents and adults, Veterans, Professionals, Trauma Survivors and First Responders.
I utilize a variety of techniques in a way that reflects the needs and compliment the strengths, styles and personality of my clients. Everyone’s life is different and no one solution works for all people, approaches reflect tailored treatment techniques. I create a unique plan to work through self-image problems and accept individual talents, accomplishments or life goals. We work together on identified goals.
Appointment times can vary to accommodate schedules after work, after school, and evening appointments daily, giving you the time and flexibility you need to ensure a productive, effective counseling session.
As a counselor I aim to help you feel more confident and empowered in your personal, professional and academic relationships.
I am passionate about teaching skills and techniques to empower people wanting to improve their wellbeing.
